This necklace design is called Jeanne d'Arc necklace as it is symbolic of St. Joan of Arcs Lorraine Cross.
St. Joan of Arc is a French Heroine who was believed by some to be a mystic who was said to hear messages from God and various Saints. At the young age of 13 she said to have received these vision for the first time while in her fathers garden. She later at the age of 16 went to the King of France to tell him she believed she had been sent by God to save France from English invaders by fighting for France. He heard her out and sent her to the front lines where she began her journey as a type of Oracle leader to the French.
Joan of Arc is a symbol of resilience and mysticism. She is also a symbol of bending cultural norms as Joan wore short hair which was unconventional at the time, dressed in men's armor and fought along men in battle.
A symbol she became greatly associated with is the Lorraine Cross. This cross also holds meaning as it is associated with the maxim 'As Above So Below' which means that there is believed by some to be an interconnection of all things and that one mirrors the world around one.
This pendant has been made by hand from heavy gauge stainless steel wire. This pendant comes on a stainless steel chain with a lobster claw clasp.
Each pendant is made by hand and may feature tiny differences.

When will my order ship?
Your order will ship within a 2-3 week time frame from the day you ordered it, please reference your confirmation email for more details. At Bone Dust Tower we ship with a pack and ship service that allows us to offer FREE shipping with a tracking number so we must ship bi-weekly in order to meet the quantity requirements of this pack and ship service. If you would like an item sooner please contact me BEFORE you order and I can discuss the possibility of alternative shipping upgrades.
Custom and personalized orders
I do enjoy doing custom orders to bring you a more unique piece. My process after a small consultation is receiving partial payment
based on a percentage of the total cost up front. When the payment goes through I then begin your order. I always make sure you are 100% happy with your piece before I ship it by sending you pictures of the process and details of the finished piece. Customs take up to one to two weeks to finish depending on the work involved. If you are interested in a custom order message me and we can go from there.
If you would like a custom piece as a gift for someone, especially around the holidays please be sure to place it before October 1st.
Sizing details
The standard size ear piercing is a .8 mm. My ear weights are various larger sizes ranging from 14 gauge to 6 gauge so they only fit in a piercing that has been stretched and healed. Some lighter styles of ear weights can be modified or made into a smaller version as a custom order. If you are interested in this please contact me.
Why is the return address on my shipping label in Pennsylvania and not Canada?
If your from the USA you may notice the return address on your package is not in Canada but Pennsylvania. This return address is a family members address we use to get the package back safely in case it gets returned or isn't collected otherwise it gets thrown out into the garbage by customs. By using this address way we can get the jewelry safely back to us. All you jewelry is still made here in Canada by me (Elle).
Many makers here in Canada use Chit Chats (a pack and ship service) to ship as it's really the only affordable shipping option in Canada. It is also much faster and cuts hours off our workload rather than standing in line at the post office for 3 hours and upsetting everyone in line behind us and our postal worker.
How long will my package take to get to me?
North American packages take roughly 1-3 weeks to arrive and all North American packages come with full tracking.
International packages sometimes come with a tracking number but if the postal service doesn't offer a tracking number for your region of the world it could take about 2-15 weeks to arrive. This can sometimes be longer depending on the time if year specifically if its near the holidays. If it still has not arrived after the time frame above please contact me so we can solve the problem together.
IMPORTANT: Care instructions for Iron wire jewelry.
Some of my jewelry and findings are made of Iron. As a finishing touch I seal all of my jewelry in a high quality well known jewelry wax ( Renaissance Jewelry Wax) to prevent it from tarnishing or rusting but you must also do your part to keep your jewelry looking good as new. I recommend not wearing it in water, to sleep, during sport or on hot humid days. If for some reason your jewelry starts to tarnish or rust simply put a drop of olive oil or dab of vaseline on a soft cloth and gently rub the problem spot. It should shine up and be as good as new.
You will also get jewelry care instructions in your order and if you ordered a smaller piece of jewelry you will get a small burlap bag to store it safely in.
Do you do Payment Plans?
Yes I do. If you are interested in a payment plan I can hold an item for you for 1 week to up to 6 weeks for a non-refundable down payment. Most of my payment plans are split up in fours and done via PayPal.
Why did I have to pay a customs fee?
Sometimes you have to pay customs fees and sometimes you don't, it really all depends on how customs operate in your country. When you order something from an international seller it is always the buyer's responsibility to pay customs fees if they are due.

I do offer exchanges but do not offer exchanges on custom orders, items on sale or earrings (due to hygiene reasons). Buyers are responsible for return cost if you are exchanging jewelry.
