Oxidized copper is still copper - it just has a lovely dark grey / black surface which is created by a chemical process using liver of sulphur. As with any surface treatment on metal, this effect will wear off over time depending on how often the piece is worn. Each oxidized piece is sealed with a micro-crystalline jewelry wax to protect the patina, but it may wear off over time. You can always have a piece re-oxidized, please get in touch if you require this.

I do enjoy doing custom orders to bring you a more unique piece. My process after a small consultation is receiving partial payment based on a percentage of the total cost up front. When the payment goes through I then begin your order. I always make sure you are 100% happy with your piece before I ship it by sending you pictures of the process and details of the finished piece. Customs take up to one to two weeks to finish depending on the work involved. If you are interested in a custom order message me and we can go from there. If you would like a custom piece as a gift for someone, especially around the holidays please be sure to place it before October 1st.

The standard size ear piercing is a .8 mm. My ear weights are various larger sizes ranging from 14 gauge to 6 gauge so they only fit in a piercing that has been stretched and healed. Some lighter styles of ear weights can be modified or made into a smaller version as a custom order. If you are interested in this please contact me.

Please allow 3-8 business days for your order to ship. Made to order items have an extended shipping time of 1-2 weeks. If you need your order sooner please contact me, I will try my best to accommodate you. Orders are shipped at the end of the week so please contact me before Wednesday as I only visit the post office once a week. Orders placed after Wednesday will be shipped the following week.

I always suggest going up a size rather then down. All of my rings are handmade and may fit different finger shapes differently.

North American packages take roughly 1-3 weeks to arrive and all North American packages come with full tracking. International packages sometimes come with a tracking number but if the postal service doesn't offer a tracking number for your region of the world it could take about 2-10 weeks to arrive. Sometimes things can get held up in customs. If it still has not arrived after the time frame above please contact me so we can solve the problem together.

Some of my jewelry and findings are made of blackened steel. As a finishing touch I seal all of my jewelry in a high quality well known jewelry wax ( Renaissance Jewelry Wax) to prevent it from tarnishing or rusting but you must also do your part to keep your jewelry looking good as new. I recommend not wearing it in water, to sleep, during sport or on hot humid days. If for some reason your jewelry starts to tarnish or rust simply wipe it with a dab of Vaseline on a cloth or paper towel and it will be good as new.

I do not want to take your hard earned money from you if you are not crazy in love with your jewelry. I do offer exchanges but do not offer exchanges on custom orders, items on sale or earrings (due to hygiene reasons). Buyers are responsible for return cost if you are exchanging jewelry.
